Backup

Before you lose all that music, all those precious photos ... TAKE A BACKUP ! This doesn't have to be complicated, you just need to make sure you have a copy of your files on separate physical storage.

This can either be a backup onto CD, DVD, to a 2nd internal Hard Drive, to an external USB or Firewire drive, or to removable memory such as Compact Flash, or a Sony Memory Stick. Whichever way you do it if you lose data while we can do our best to retrieve your lost files, and often succeed, we can in no way guarantee that this is possible.

An easy and cheap way to take care of you backup worries is to buy an external USB drive of about 250 Gb, hook it up and run a backup. If you would like us to supply you with one of these and setup the backup for you, just contact us.

One last thought: Consider keeping a backup at another location.
